What course are you studying and what level?

MPhil in World HIstory.

Why did you chose that course?

I believe it allows you to develop a host of widely applicable skills.

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

I started rowing at the University of Toronto in the Novice program. I am drawn to the dual physical and technical demands of the sport.

What was your first rowing club and coach?

University of Toronto Rowing Club. Tom Stevens.

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

I really loved Terry Fox. Terry Fox is widely known and celebrated within Canada but not much beyond. Almost every elementary school will do an annual Terry Fox charity run.

What is your favourite non-academic book?

A Gentleman in Moscow
