When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

Mansfield College Boat Club after being inspired by my sister’s achievements in the sports in years before – I immediately fell in love with the feeling of thinking about nothing else as soon as you push off the dock – and alongside the whole MCBC women’s side was so inspired by being coached by an athlete as strong and successful as Martha Birtles

What was your first rowing club and coach?

Martha Birtles at Mansfield College Boat Club

How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?

The support and friendship you receive from the squad and women around you at OUBC is unmatched, rowing gives me opportunity and a new chance to push myself every day in the sport

If you weren’t a rower, what sport do you think you’d excel at?

with good enough snacks, ultramarathon running
