What is your favourite non-academic book?

Finding A Flame Lily by Judy Rawlinson – my grandma! She’s a really good writer and the book stories her teenage years growing up in Africa! It’s a great read!

What is your dream job? Or what do you aspire to do once you complete your studies?

I hope to pursue a PhD in gene therapy after my MSc and then help develop gene therapies at the UK’s leading pharmaceutical companies like Astra Zeneca and GSK. It would be really cool to work at the forefront of drug discovery in the UK and contribute gene therapies that could cure conditions that have plagued families for generations.
