What course are you studying and what level?

MChem Chemistry

Why did you chose that course?

Chemistry is central to the way we interact with and harness the natural world, whether it’s through medicines that allow us to interface with human biology, or the processes by which we convert natural resources into the materials and products we use every day.

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

Westminster School 2016. The feeling of being on the water and in a crew where everyone is moving in rhythm is unique.

What was your first rowing club and coach?

WSBC, CD Riches

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

Roger Federer

How has rowing and being part of the Boat Race squad impacted your life?

I’ve made lifelong friends and learned to be thorough and disciplined.

If you weren’t a rower, what sport do you think you’d excel at?

Fencing
