Why did you choose BA Philosophy, Politics and Economics?

Approaching global problems through PPE’s interdisciplinary lens – each subject offers a different perspective and prioritises different values, so considering all three subjects helps to give a better rounded approach. It’s also interesting to go from doing a macro-economics problem sheet to writing an ethics essay all in the space of a week!

Why did you first try rowing?

I’ve always been keen to try different sports, growing up playing every sport I could, so when I came to uni I signed up for a college taster outing with some friends… turned out to be a great decision!

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

You bond so closely with your teammates – there would be no better feeling than to win and share the success of your hard work with the people that helped you get there
