What is your reason for your course choice?

I have always enjoyed math, logic and reasoning and participated in math olympiads throughout high school.

When, where and why did you start rowing? And what do you love about the sport?

I started rowing once I arrived in Cambridge 2 years ago. I was tall and danish so was “forced” into a boat and have been rowing for just over 2 years now. I love that rowing is a sport that combines the best elements of an individual sport while still having the benefit of teamsports.

What was your first rowing club and coach?

My first club was Christ College Boat Club Cambridge, and my very first coaches where LBC’s ie other students teaching me to row.

What or who was the earliest sporting inspiration you remember as a child?

Football (soccer) and probably Benzema.

What sport did you prioritise growing up?

I mainly played football when I was very young and badminton in my teens.
