About Kenneth:

Why did you choose MPhil in History of Art?

I am studying the Fitzwilliam Museum of Cambridge’s collection of 18th century Chinese reverse painted mirrors. I became interested in Chinese art history after living in Beijing when I was 12. I also studied Chinese art history for my undergrad.

Why did you first try rowing?

Because my dad signed me up for a local learn to row for my high school team

Who introduced you to the sport of rowing?

Jerry Michaels at Montclair High School

Where else have you rowed?

Montclair High School, Harvard University, and the US u19 and u23 National Teams

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

Silver medal in the 8+ at the 2021 World Rowing u23 World Championships; bronze medal in the 4+ at the 2016 World Rowing Junior World Championships; and bronze medal at the 2019 IRA National Rowing Championships in the Varsity 8

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

It would mean the world
